MarshVegas Lacrosse Club was founded by Matt Scott, who is passionate about Lacrosse and has rich history in the sport. Matt’s Lacrosse career began as a player at Weymouth High School, where he was and All Scholastic Defenseman. He then went to Fairfield University, where he competed at the Division 1 level competing against some of the best teams in the country.  As a Senior, Fairfield finished, #18 in the country, with win's again Notre Dame, Ohio State and Denver, earning them the Great West Lacrosse League title and the school's first trip to the NCAA Tournament. His experience on the field has been complemented by years of coaching.  Upon graduation, he helped coach Weymouth Youth Lacrosse, and for the past 10 years  has coached with Marshfield Youth Lacrosse, where he also held the role of President for 4 years.  Matt also spent 7 years coaching at the High School level, at Catholic Memorial, where he dedicated himself to developing young athletes.  Along with his years of experience coaching, Matt has been a long standing member of the South Shore Wompatucks Lacrosse Club.
